$500 SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY CONTEST 2026
Pittsburgh Injury Lawyers P.C. are known for getting substantial court judgments for victims of personal injuries. We want to help future personal injury attorneys with their education costs by offering an annual $500 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition with a topic focused on personal injury.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This Scholarship is open to both graduate/law students and undergraduate students seeking to go to law school in the future. All applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate or graduate-level program.
- All essays should contain the author’s name, address, phone number, current major, and college
- All essays must be emailed to pittsburghinjuryscholarship@mail.com
- All entries must be in .pdf format
- All submissions must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
- The winner will be announced via our website on August 31, 2026.
2026 ESSAY TOPIC
The statute of limitations for personal injury cases exists to protect defendants from potentially frivolous lawsuits more than 2 years after the date of accident. In your opinion, what role should the statute of limitations serve? For example, should it be removed for cases involving bodily harm, or is its existence necessary to protect defendants and encourage timely action by plaintiffs?

- Proper spelling, grammar, and citations should be used.
