PERSONAL INJURY SCHOLARSHIP

Pittsburgh Injury Lawyers P.C. is committed to representing people and families affected by serious accidents and injuries. We also believe in investing in students who may become tomorrow’s legal advocates. To help with the cost of higher education, we are pleased to offer an annual $500 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition addressing an important issue involving personal injury and public safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate, graduate, or law school program. Undergraduate applicants should have an interest in attending law school in the future.
  • Include your full name, address, phone number, current major or program, and college or university.
  • All submissions must be provided in PDF format.
  • Email submissions to pittsburghinjuryscholarship@mail.com.
  • Submission deadline: July 31, 2027
  • Winner announced on our website: August 31, 2027

2027 ESSAY TOPIC

Essay Topic: Who Is Responsible for Making Our Roads Safer?

Car accidents can be caused by many factors, including distracted driving, speeding, dangerous road conditions, poor weather, and driver behavior.

Essay Question: What do you believe is the most important step Pennsylvania can take to reduce serious traffic accidents and injuries? Discuss the roles that drivers, government agencies, and the law should play in preventing accidents and determining responsibility when someone is injured.

Support your position with relevant case law and reputable online sources.

Scholarship Guidelines:
